Ciri-ciri haiwan reptilia adalah seperti berikut :-

* Kulit bersisik kering.
* Bernafas melalui paru.
* Biasanya bertelur dan telur bercangkerang keras.
* Sebagian reptilia mempunyai empat kaki dan sebagian tanpa kaki.
* Berdarah sejuk (suhu badan berubah mengikut suhu lingkungan).
